Iceland Tour Packages & Travel Guide

Iceland Tour Packages Northern Lights and waterfalls landscape

Expert Tip: Our Secret to Avoiding the Crowds

Most travelers head straight to the Golden Circle as soon as they land, but if you want to experience the true silence of the “Land of Fire and Ice,” we recommend heading to the South Coast early in the morning. While places like Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach are breathtaking, they can get busy. If you’re looking for a hidden gem, don’t miss the Kvernufoss waterfall—it’s tucked away right next to its famous neighbor, Skógafoss, but it feels like a private paradise. Our Iceland tour packages are designed not just to show you the landmarks, but to help you find these quiet, magical moments that most tourists drive right past.

Best Time to Visit Iceland

Iceland offers two completely different worlds depending on when you visit.

Winter (October – April): Northern Lights & Ice Caves

Winter is the season of magic. Long nights make it the perfect time to hunt for the Aurora Borealis. It is also the only time you can explore the famous Crystal Blue Ice Caves inside Vatnajökull Glacier.

Summer (June – August): Midnight Sun & Ring Road

In summer, the sun barely sets. This is the best time for driving the full Ring Road, hiking in the Highlands (Landmannalaugar), and seeing puffins on the coast. The weather is milder, and all roads are open.

Top Things to Do in Iceland

  • The Golden Circle: The classic route featuring Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall.
  • The Blue Lagoon: A world-famous geothermal spa located in a lava field.
  • South Coast: Home to the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall and the black sand beach of Reynisfjara.
  • Reykjavik: The colorful, energetic capital city known for its culture and nightlife.
